I had a 2 and one half year old sears kenmore elite french door refrig. 2,800.

Refrig quit working took 8 days to get appointment. Suppose to be under warranty. Called a private repair service who came out and said compressor was out he didn't want to do a costly repair as it was under warranty. Waited the 8 days without refrig, repair man called to confirm apt and I ask him to level with me.

By this time I had read all the horrible complaints with same refrig and that people were never getting them fixed. Repairman said it would be 400 dollars to look at it and if it was condenser he couldn't even get one. He said if it was his he would walk away from it. So it is sitting in the barn while we look for a class action law suit ti join.

The repairman actual told me to look for one as there are so many complaints on this model and he said to join a law suit.

This is the repairman telling me this! We purchased a new whirlpool french door.
