My Whirlpool washer was showing an error message so I called Sears to schedule a service appointment. I have a problem with the clothes washer leaking water in the clean cycle. Only in the clean cycle it would dump about a quart of water on the floor running across the room. Overflowing. When I set my appointment for repair, I've got used live chat where I have been told there is a 25 % discount on the total service. When I checked my credit card I've seen the full amount. I have been overcharged, discount total would have been $82. I am extremely pleased with my repairs for once! For years I have been calling Sears with the same problems on my range and washer. I had a repairman come out and look at my range and tell me nothing was wrong with it and that it was doing exactly what it was supposed to do and leave. A month later I called again and received the same repairman. I showed him how with the burner turned on I was able to hold my hand down on it and not get burnt....

Good luck getting them to honor their contracts. I have been without a washer since January. They are unable to fix it but will not honor their exchange agreement. I have spent hours and hours speaking to people who dead- end me "sorry nothing anyone can do", etc." No one else can help you either". Our technician neglected to leave the credit/coupon to use toward a future purchase after he left a ridiculous estimate for my Kenmore washer. He was told we would not be repairing it so he should have left the coupon. I had an appointment on January 5, 2015 and the repair person did not order a belt which was needed to repair the dishwasher. On the next appointment another repair personnoticed the unit needed more than a control unit. I am glad the company will pay for the belt, but the time it takes to get the job done is way too long.
