DO NOT BUY A SEARS PRODUCT AND ABSOLUTELY DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE REPAIR. I paid $89 for a service call on my Kenmore dryer and the technician convinced me to buy a new dryer.
He even ordered it for me. I specifically asked the technician if it was a problem in ordering a new dryer when it is stacked on a different washer and that it is important that it is vented on the right. He assured me that this was not a problem. I took the day off of work for delivery of the new dryer.
The installers told me that they could not install this dryer stacked on top of the existing washer and that it was not vented on the correct side.
Now Sears says that I need to have another technician out to diagnose the problem before they can give me an estimate. and they will not refund my $89 fee
