Sears Home Services - Customer Service
I recently scheduled a service tech to come to my home to service a washing machine purchased from Sears in addition to the extended service agreement I purchased for almost $240.My service window was between 1p-5p so I waited... and waited..
and waited. At 4:55p a woman called me claiming to represent said service tech and claimed he was sick and would be unable to meet my scheduled time .. really???? at 4:55 she called?
I don't buy into this *** for one minute.A person does not get suddenly sick at 5 minutes until a service appointment. If a person is ill, they are ill all day or at least part of the day allowing plenty of time to make a "Courtesy Call" not to mention the fact that I heard children in the background leading me to believe it was the techs wife or girlfriend and after a gave her a piece of my mind I asked to speak to a supervisor at which time no one answered.
I then proceeded to call other numbers for the service department to which foriengn speaking individuals answered and I could not understand a word they were saying needless to say I was put on hold and given the run-around for approx 45 min until I finally reached a gentleman that could speak English and refunded the amount of my service agreement. I WILL NEVER DUE BUSINESS WITH SEARS AGAIN !!

The same thing happened to me today but I didn't receive a courtesy call. My husband called 10 minutes before the time window was to expire to be told that know one was coming today and gave no explanation.
I'm pissed. I've sat home all day long waiting from 10-2 for a repairman.
I took off from work and I'm not paid if I don't work. I'm beyond upset.
