Purchased 2 Appliances Sept 2016 and of course bought extended 5 yr warranties. Not to mention, they called me in August of this year, 2017 saying that I didn't purchase an extended warranty for my fridge. (The fridge order was cancelled) I have already had to call about the stove 3 months after it was delivered. What is a service call gonna cost in the future .. more than the applicance? Please help us get justice. I live in Canada and I really hope I can join this class action suit. Thank you.

Sears Home Services - Problem with getting Sears out to service lawn tractor

In June 2017, my husband reported a problem with his Craftman lawn mower. A Technician came out, discovered the problem and ordered the parts. Its is now October 10th and still the parts are sitting outdoors and our tractor still has not been repaired. Sears has lied about the appointments, they change appointment dates without our knowledge and they are making changes in their system to cover this up. I understand they are short on Technicians BUT we paid for a maintenance contract and are not receiving the service we paid for. I have never heard of such poor service before; they will only pay one (1) time to have our grass cut ($50.00 maximum). We have plenty of grass and have to cut weekly because fertilizer is on the grass, so this $50.00 only paid for one cutting. We have had at least 12 cuttings since June and we had to pay for them with only one $50 reimbursement from them. WE ARE TRULY UPSET ABOUT THIS, THEIR LIES and COVER UPS.

Purchased your product 02/24/2017, It Quit working 10/01/2017, I contacted sears repair, they made me wait until 10/09/2017 for repair appointment, then called to say they could not be out here and needed to reschedule, but could not give me another scheduled date and was saying they did not have any dates available. I have made several calls, finally was able to get someone to send a new GFI chord for the unit, but then was told someone would contact me within 48 hours to schedule appointment. I was finally called on 10/10/2017 by automated system, I returned call and again I am being told there are no dates available and would be called when a date is available. This is unacceptable. I have spoke with others having the same problems with sears and Kenmore products. My daughter bought a refrigerator from sears, when it quit working, she had to wait over 3 weeks to even get an appointment for someone to come "look at" the refrigerator, then was told she would have to wait for them to order parts, which took another 2 weeks, and then she again had to wait for a repair technician to come fix it. she has two small children and had to go for several weeks without a refrigerator to keep food in for her children. Then the refrigerator broke again. I then found several other BBB complaints against sears for similar issues, so I filed a complaint, but have not had any resolution. I live in Texas, where the weather can get very hot, leaving us in a home where it was cooler outside than in our home. I do not understand why they can not replace products they are supposed to guarantee, when they can not get anyone out to fix these products.

Are we in the Dark Ages? Reported Kenmore Elite refrigerator not working on 9/21 took two weeks to send a service person on Oct 5. Can't determine if it a circuit board or compressor. Ordered a new board at $600. will need to wait two more weeks for next service call Oct. 20 to determine if new board fixes it. If not, will need a new sealed Refrigerator unit - no telling when that will arrive and how long to wait for that next service call. In the meantime will have been four weeks without refrigerator/freezer before I even know what the problem is and maybe six to eight weeks before the issue is resolved. Never again will I purchase from Sears. Their retail business is going south and they are driving their appliance business in the same direction.

SEARS Home Warranty Program it’s a BIG RIPOFF! & It's Horrible... I bought the best SEARS Home Warranty Program they had to offer. After 8 months my washer stopped working. I called the 800 number they scheduled the technician following week, it was to my surprise some third party technician showed up at my house and spend less than 2 minutes looking at the washer, without opening it he told me that parts for the washer are not covered under warranty, and asked me to pay him $75.00 for the service charge!... I called the 800 number and spoke with “so called” manager; she said I am entitled for a 2nd opinion with different company and scheduled the technician a week later. After a week, I lost my temper when I saw a same technician walking in; he told me they had scheduled him for the 2nd opinion call…??? I called the 800 number again and screamed at them and got the same answer, “we will schedule different company for a 2nd opinion”. She scheduled the technician for another week later. At this point I am out of the washer for 3 weeks. Scheduled date came and no one showed up. I called the 800 number and spoke with the manager again…. There were no apologies… Just bad attitude… my wife had enough of laundromat. I ended up buying a new washer and cancelling the Program after paying them for 14 months….
