Sears home repair services are terrible. Spend your money elsewhere unless you like a headache. I had an appointment for a refrigerator repair today. Confirmed i had all the necessarybparts last night. This morning they call to tell me my appointment was cancelled because i dont have the parts. I tell them this is incorrect and that i have previously confirmed that i have the parts. After getting the run around i am told they dont have time in their schedule for my repair and will have to come the next day. They have the audacity to schedule the appointment without asking if i am available. I request they come do the important part of my repair so i have a working refrigerator . It cant take more than 20 minutes to put in the motherboard. The gasket can be done another day. They wont do anything to correct their mistake. I am disgusted by this company and their customer service.

Terrible service from sears if you buy their yearly warranty plan.. My dryer broke and when I called to schedule appointment They booked me 1 1/2 weeks later for appointment and never showed up saying worker was sick. They then rescheduled appointment for me for 3 weeks later ... I went online that day and was able to book repair for if wrote that product was not under guarantee but paid cash, I got appointment 2 days later ... And that was after supervisor said they have no appointments available sooner They are terribly dishonest and untrustworthy Sears is dishonest, untrustworthy They give terrible service Never trust sears home repair services under warranty

Freezer on bottom

Called Sears regarding my 52.2 week old refrigerator. My "manufacture's warranty" ran out 2 weeks ago (freezer on bottom) and the top stopped cooling. They suggested that I could "buy the extended protection" - for "only" $39 a month. Swell suggestion for a product that is 2 weeks out of warranty. I explained that I wouldn't be buying another and I'd take care of it another way. I have one of my energy company's coverage programs. So, they will fix it without additional charge. Nice service Sears! I wonder how you are in the process of disappearing.

Frigidaire glass cooktop

I booked online to have a cooktop replacement done through Sears. I gave them all the information needed including the brand, model and part number. I had to wait 12 days for the repairman to come out - only to be told that he didn't have the part - that it would need to be ordered and delivered then he would return to install. He said he had that problem previously with Sears. So frustrating! I could easily have ordered it if they would have indicated the need. Now I have very limited use of my cooktop for Thanksgiving...the earliest they can reschedule an install now is 13 days out - well after the big day.

The worst Company for appliances services

This is the worst company in the world in terms of service refers home. are liars, three times did not attend the same appointment and first was because according to them need more than one person to fix the machine but technician never saw it, the second and the third time was because according to them there was no one at home and this is a building where we have 24 hours doorman . Our company will never again do business with these liars and irresponsible. All of them from the managers to the customers services are liars and irresponsable

Home Repair/Customer Service

This was my first time needing repairs on my dishwasher as it isn't even a year old. I received the typical four hour window, which has since come and gone (between 8 and 12). Call customer service and you still get the run around, oh, we'll call the repair man who will call you in 15 minutes. Well, needless to say, almost an hour later, no call. Call customer service, oh mame, I'm so sorry. What the *** can I do with a sorry, I need my dishwasher fixed. No call yet, and I'm almost and hour and a half down the drain. One wasted day off from work waiting on Sears. Should have gotten that wine cooler instead. :( Where's the May Tag repair man when you need him??????? Very disgruntled and disappointed with this entire process.

We made appointments to get our dishwasher repaired. Twice. Took the day off work to wait for the repair guy. Twice. Repair guy didn't show. Twice. The first time, he called later in the evening and TOLD me that my appointment was rescheduled for the next week at a time when I wasn't available. The second time, he just disappeared, and his own boss couldn't reach him. They weren't the slightest bit interested in fixing the situation. They were willing to make another appointment another two weeks away. I didn't see the point of that. If I wanted to not get my dishwasher repaired, it would have been easier to just not call them.

Sears stinks for repair and customer service

Like many others who have complained, my repair on the dishwasher wasn't done correctly. I made a second appointment, waited all day and no one showed up even after my calling at least six times. Now need to wait another 4 hour window and likely they will not show up. Wasted almost $300, lost two full days of work, and can't get this resolved. On top of it all, one service manager said that the tech said I wasn't home (a blatant lie - they didn't show up, I was here ALL DAY waiting.) I've made another appointment for the end of this week (11/6), but have no confidence that anyone will show up, since I received a phone confirmation for the last appointment and no one showed up (and lied about it).

Had a service man come out to check our Kenmore Dryer which wasn't drying very well. He replaced two elements and charged $185, then said the vent hose needed cleaning out because the air flow wasn't good. Interestingly enough that turned out to be another department that just blows out hoses! They wanted another service charge and another $185 to have this other department service people come out to blow out the hose. What a rip off!!!!! I will never buy another Sears product again. I will tell all my friends and neighbors to avoid buying anything from Sears that needs any kind of repair in the future. You might as well buy another brand new appliance for what they charge.

I contracted Sears Home Improvement to install new windows in my condo. They were installed in June 2015. After about one week I realized that some wouldn't open all the way. The installer came back twice to adjust the windows but one still did not fit. He advised his supervisor that I needed a new window. After several weeks, Sears sent out another installer and he told them the same thing - to order a new window. I feel I have gotten the run around. They take forever to get the window. They cancelled the appointment on that day saying the technician scheduled to do the work was not qualified (as if they didn't know what kind of work was scheduled). I have gotten no reponse from Sears about any resolution of my problem.

SEARS did NOT honor our service contract with their Home Warranty Plan

SEARS HOME WARRANTY SERVICE DID NOT FIX MY REFRIGERATOR AND WERE VERY SHADY IN THEIR CONTRACT AND FULFILLMENT THEREOF, THOUGH THE REPAIRMAN WAS KNOWLEDGEABLE AND KIND. THEY DID NOT FIX MY WATER DISPENSER THOUGH THE PROBLEM WAS INSIDE THE WATER DISPENSER AND ICE MAKER MECHANISM. THEY SAID THE ENTIRE FREEZER DOOR HAD TO BE REPLACED BECAUSE THE MECHANISM WAS INSIDE THE DOOR. WHEN THE TECHNICIAN CALLED TO GET THE APPROVAL, IT WAS NOT GRANTED. WHY NEED AN APPROVAL WHEN YOU HAVE A CONTRACT! WE DID NOT MAKE THE APPLIANCE AND WE DID NOT BREAK THE APPLIANCE. THIS IS THE PURPOSE OF YOU HAVING A SERVICE CONTRACT. THEY SAID IT WOULD COST $800 FOR THE DOOR PLUS THE COST OF PUTTING IT ON. I AM TOTALLY DISGUSTED WITH SEARS AND THEIR HOME WARRANTY PLAN AND I CANNOT AFFORD THE REPAIR OR A NEW REFRIGERATOR. I SPOKE TO SEVERAL MANAGERS IN VARIOUS DEPTS, SOME NICE AND SOME NASTY AND ABRUPT. MY REFRIGERATOR STILL NEEDS REPAIR!! I PRAY THAT THIS NEVER HAPPENS TO ANYONE ELSE AND I AM FILING A COMPLAINT WITH THE ATTORNEY GENERAL AND THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. IF THIS EVER HAPPENS TO YOU, DO THE SAME!!!

I'm in Albany NY. 1$t my quote did not include the $20 travel charge. They used a machine similiar to a rental, refilling it repeatedly from my sink. The worst carpet cleaning service ever- I should have used mine and saved some $$. They don't scrub stains or rake up heavy traffic areas. They oversoaked my carpet and sprayed something on it that left white blotches all over. I paid for deodorizer and protectant which was never used. My carpet stinks! After they left I was forced to pull mine from basement to suck out the h20 left behind, and scrub out some of the stains. I took photos and complained but got nowhere. They offer satisfaction guaranteed but it's all hype- you don't get a refund and they don't jump to correct any issues. All you get are excuses and denial. I should have stayed with Stanley Steamer: who does a PROFESSIONAL job with commercial steamer, PLUS they scrub and rake... for $40 less!!! Sears is a RIPOFF! (Note) I had extremely important guests coming up from Texas and needed this done right- beforehand. This shoddy job damaged the presentation of my household affecting their 1st impression- which will never be altered!

I had an appointment for a refrigerator repair by stairs on October 15th 2015 between 1 and 5. I received a phone call by an automated system the day before saying that they would be out. We waited. My grandson gets off the school bus at 2:30 we were sitting in the front room three of us at 2:40. Which at this time the repairman came and just left a note on the door saying it could not reach us. B.s. We were in the front room and the front door is right next to it. Call the Sears repair system and got a man by the name of Sam. Explain the situation to him and he gave me another time of a week and a half. I told him it was unacceptable I needed the refrigerator repaired. Everyone knows you need your refrigerator above everything else. I told him we were sitting in the front row . He brought it up 2 days. Accepted this time and date and at this time I ask to talk to his supervisor. He basically told me no. I have him over and over to speak to his supervisor and he put me on hold for about 5 minutes. A girl by the name of Jenna which is not her real name and is not a supervisor I found out later started telling me and I stopped her and I said I want to explain the situation. As I was going through it she finally hung up on me. This I learn later in the day that there was no report of me ever being transferred to a supervisor. Sears sucks. I can't believe I have people like this working in their customer service. They both should be reprimanded if not sent back to training. They should consult with Sam and find out who the other person is that pretended to be the supervisor. You cannot imagine how bad my husband and I were. He was listening to the phone conversation with Sears with me. This is insulting to an adult or anybody. If this is the way series operate no wonder they're going under. I feel sorry for anyone who tries to get a repair done by them. And they're saying the repairman should also be talked to because this man never knocked on our door. At least I know now who not to call when I need service again!

To start off, I made my appointment for repair of my oven on line. The soonest they could get out was 2 weeks. I expected a call or email confirmation and after a week still had not received either. On recommendation of a friend I called and made an appointment with another service provider (Advanced Appliance) for the same day. The day before the date they were supposed to arrive I got a call from Sears confirming my appointment, so I called the other company and cancelled. The next day at 8am Sears called to tell me that I needed to reschedule because their man called in sick. I called the number they gave me and was totally annoyed by their robot receptionist. When I finally got a real person, I found that the next date available was another 10 days, 3 days after Thanksgiving! No oven for Thanksgiving! Thank goodness Advanced Appliance was able to reschedule me. I can not speak to their actual service, since they were not able to provide me with anything.

Refrigerator repair service

Scheduled appointmwent to have Refrigerator repaired 1st week of Nov. guy came out and said it was the compressor. we had the compressor changed on this LG LAST YR. by sears,confused...he stated the part never was changed....hmm.. the new part was ordered and a different guy came out and he said that not the problem. A new part needs to be ordered and appt. scheduled for Mon. 23rd now and part did not arrive till 2pm on mon. and appt. was scheduled 1-5 the supervisor "ED" SAID THE APPT. HAS TO BE RESCHEDULED AFTER THANKSGIVING 30TH!!!!!!!!! THIS IS THE WORST SERVICE EVER, NOW I HAVE TO CANCEL THANKSGIVING AT MY HOUSE THANKS TO SEARS!! NEVER,NEVER, AGAIN!!!!!!
